6 years ago, I had a really stressful time in life and found myself doing exactly as above. I was stressed and tired, leading me to overeat and not give my body what it needed. I wasn’t listening to my body nor was I particularly careful thinking about what I was eating. This resulted in me gaining weight, feeling sluggish and constant fatigue. As most people, I’ve tried various diets but they’ve always made me feel restricted and under pressure with a sense of failure if I have an off day. 

Everything changed for me when I learnt about mindful and intuitive eating. Listening to my body and what it needed while thinking about what I eating, not only did this give me a better sense of wellness and more energy but I also lost weight as a side effect. Without the pressure to stick to a rigid diet, everything felt easier and more weight loss was so much achievable. I now feel so much healthier and more in control of my weight and health. 

It’s so easy to overeat and be an emotional eater, particularly at times of stress and during holiday time.
